The kings of pinball are back and following up the release of the rather brilliant Pinball FX3 are two new tables – and for a limited time, they are free to download.

Zen Studios have today got into the Christmas spirit to send two new tables to the Pinball FX3 masses. Available from today, the Carnivals and Legends pack joins dozens of other downloadable packs on Pinball FX3, bringing the ‘Adventure Land’ and ‘Son of Zeus’ tables to gamers.

Taking pinball back to its roots, the two unlicensed creations are based on original concepts, taking players back in time. But the real big deal is that the Carnivals and Legends pack will be free to download between the 12th-19th December 2017. It’ll be available through Pinball FX3 on Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Those playing pinball on mobile will be able to grab the tables through the Zen Pinball app.

While most Zen tables are known for their refined mix of traditional pinball gameplay and video game elements that no real-life table could ever pull off, “Adventure Land” greatly favors the former. A digital ode to 1990s arcade pinball, it emphasizes core design over spectacular visual effects—though with fireworks, fireballs and animated 3D models, there are still plenty of those. As they play through a dozen game modes, fans of arcade pinball will delight in the way “Adventure Land” feels like something they’ve played but is indeed brand new.

Son of Zeus meanwhile is the first video pinball table to ever feature dynamic weather effects, taking us back in time in a whole other way—through ancient mythology! Determined to reach the top of Mount Olympus, Hercules confronts the likes of a fully animated giant snake and an active volcano that transforms into Cronos, the mighty Titan. The voice of Hera ruthlessly challenges the man-god, as he also faces threats from such iconic mythological antagonists as the Hydra, the Cerberus and Medusa—who can turn a player’s ball to stone!

Fire up the awesome Pinball FX3 right now and get your tables downloaded.
