EA has officially unveiled the incoming class of EA SPORTS FC 26 ICONs, and it’s a star-studded lineup packed with the most fan-requested, recently retired legends and generational talents to ever grace the pitch.
This year’s class, featuring modern legends like Zlatan Ibrahimović, Alex Morgan, Andrés Iniesta, and Toni Kroos, allows fans to celebrate the heroes who helped shape the modern game. Players who pre-order the EA SPORTS FC 26 Ultimate Edition can even get their hands on one of these new ICONs at launch.
A New Class of Legends
This reveal perfectly complements the main announcement for EA SPORTS FC 26, which saw the “new generation” of Jude Bellingham and Jamal Musiala crowned as the Standard Edition cover stars.
While they represent the future, this new class of ICONs celebrates the legendary players who inspired them and captivated fans across the globe with their world-class talent.

A brand-new Archetypes feature is being introduced, inspired by the greats of the game. Some of the new ICONs will inspire these distinct new classes, giving you more control over how you develop your Pro.

Debut and Champion ICONs
For those who pre-order the Ultimate Edition by August 26th, you’ll receive one of fifteen special ICONs at the start of early access on September 19th.
This will be a Debut ICON, recognising an early moment in their career. In November, this card will automatically upgrade to a Champion ICON, commemorating an iconic, trophy-winning moment that cemented their legendary status.

Two of the headline new ICONs shared their excitement at being immortalised in the game.
