There’s a new top-down co-op shooter in the works titled Zombieland: Double Tap – Road Trip and it’s based on the blockbuster horror comedy franchise from Sony Pictures. Expect plenty of inspiration from the story, characters, humour and horror of both Zombieland and its upcoming sequel, Zombieland 2: Double Tap.
Set after the events of the first movie, Zombieland: Double Tap – Road Trip is aiming to deliver a ridiculously fun top-down twin-stick shooter featuring local co-op multiplayer for up to four players to enjoy. You’ll be able to play as one of your favourite heroes from the original — Tallahassee, Columbus, Wichita and Little Rock — as well as a selection of new unlockable characters from the upcoming sequel, which is arriving in cinemas on 18th October, 2019.
Prepare to use your special abilities, in tandem with an arsenal of weapons and the utterly essential Zombieland rules for survival in order to stay alive. Especially when up against huge numbers of the uniquely grotesque and dangerous undead monstrosities that can be found in Zombieland: Double Tap – Road Trip’s story-based campaign mode, wave-based horde mode, and the ongoing daily and weekly challenges.
Published by GameMill Entertainment and developed by High Voltage Software, Zombieland: Double Tap – Road Trip will be unleashed on 15th October, 2019 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC.
