We were meant to stop at five, but Telltale Games have decided eight is the magic number. Today they have detailed the release date of Episode 6 of their Minecraft Story Mode series…and delivered a lovely little interview as well!
Arriving on all the usual formats – Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, PC, iOS and Android – Episode 6 ‘A Portal to Mystery’ will be available from June 7th as a digital download. It’ll cost you $4.99 (or your local equivalent), or you can grab the new Adventure Pass for $14.99 which covers this and the next two chapters. You will of course need to have played the first episode of Minecraft Story Mode at the very least.
In Episode 6: ‘A Portal to Mystery’, continuing their journey through the portal hallway, Jesse and crew land themselves in another strange new world – one completely overrun by zombies. With a timely invitation to take refuge in a spooky mansion, they find themselves thrown into a thrilling mystery alongside famous members of the Minecraft community.
You’ll find that this latest chapter also comes with the addition of a number of Youtube stars, all playing as themselves. Whether you’re a fan of Joseph Garrett as Stampy Cat, Stacy Hinojosa as Stacy Plays, Dan Middleton as DanTDM (The Diamond Minecart), Lizzie Dwyer as LDShadowLady or Jordan Maron as CaptainSparklez, you can be sure they’ll all deliver a worthwhile experience. At least if you believe what they are saying in the video below.
