Konami have announced a partnership with the Bundesliga side Dortmund, which will come into effect for PES 2017 and future PES titles.
Due to this agreement, Konami can work together with Borussia Dortmund to ensure the club, and all aspects involved with it, are reproduced accurately for the next four years. That means a realistic recreation of their Signal Iduna Park stadium is now possible and the atmospheric chanting by Dortmund fans can be replicated. On top of this, all the current kits will feature and the access they’ll be given to the squad will help to ensure the players’ in-game appearances are as close to real life as possible using face-scanning systems.
Once PES 2017 releases, there’ll be even more perks for the fans from the partnership in the form of events. Fans will be able to play against Dortmund stars and regular promotions will be run regarding the club in the myClub mode to allow gamers to add Dortmund team members to their home grown squads as the season progress. You can also expect to see players from the Borussia Dortmund team taking part in promotional material for PES.
A playable demo for PES 2017 will release on August 24th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
