A long time ago, an important battle took place between Rome and the city of Numantia, but just a short time ago it was revealed that a turn-based strategy/RPG game centred around this event is due to release this October.
Numantia is expected to release in October, 2017, for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC/Steam, bringing a game that takes place in the year 153, during an ancient conflict known as the Siege of Numantia. Players can tackle two different campaigns; one which sees you lead the troops of Numantia against the invaders, and one helping consolidate the power of Rome. Prepare to relive history in epic battles, fighting alongside real historical figures.
Plan your strategy with 30 units at your disposal to crush your opponent; Spearmen, slingers, cavalry and even siege machines, to name a few, all of which are based on real historical detachments. Face your enemies in true locations like Termes or Palantia, and witness the legendary Siege of Numantia.
This October, you can experience one of the most important parts of Spanish history like you’ve never before in Numantia. For now though, you’ll have to make do with the official trailer!
