Need more of a reason to head into the open world survival experience that is Conan Exiles? The Jewel of the West is here.
Available now for Conan Exiles on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, the Jewel of the West DLC introduces a number of new items into the game, including Aquilonia themed building pieces, armors, weapons and decorations.
Priced at £8.99, should you have wanted to create structures from smooth marble, or don new armor plated suits like the Aquilonian Scout light armor, then now you can. 39 building pieces are included in all, with 15 new armor pieces spread across three sets and no less than 9 new weapons becoming available. Drop in 5 new warpaint designs, and 25 new items like the harp and councillor chair, and there really is no further reason needed to head back to the world of Conan.
But that’s not the end of the updates for Conan, and more have been promised further down the line…
“The team is currently working hard on finalizing a massive free update that we’re aiming to launch in September,” says Creative Director Joel Bylos. “This update will introduce pets and taming, an entirely new gameplay feature. We’re also adding a new dungeon, a new religion, a new avatar, and more. This update will be free for all players on all three platforms.”
You will of course need the base game at hand in order to enjoy the delights that the Jewel of the West brings, but should you already be sorted on that front, will need to head to a digital store near you for your next download.

The new content allows you to build exclusive new houses and settlements with a complete set of Aquilonian building pieces. Build structures sheathed in smooth marble to create a whole new look for your base. Don three new armor sets like the Aquilonian Scout light armor and wield weapons like the lion-headed Aquilonian Mace. You can also craft many new placeables like Aquilonian statues, braziers and jars and use new warpaints to change your look. Jewel of the West Pack contains: • 39 new Aquilonian building pieces. o A full set of building pieces with the same stats as existing tier three. • 15 new armor pieces in three sets, such as the Black Dragon armor. o Light, medium and heavy sets with an epic end-game version of each. • 9 new weapons in one Aquilonian weapon set. o Same power as iron weapons with an epic end-game version of each weapon. • 5 new Aquilonian warpaints. o Decorative warpaints symbolizing for example rule and bravery. • 25 new placeables, such as the harp and councilor chair. o Craft them at the new Aquilonian Artisan table. All the new content from Aquilonia is exclusive to this DLC and adds a host of new visual options but does not give any in-game advantage in power. All the new items have comparable stats to existing items.
