Which of the numerous Xbox related articles that TheXboxHub have covered in the last seven days should you be checking out? Well, we think that the following should be on your radar…

Xbox Games With Gold free titles for March 2016 revealed!

games with gold march 2016

You may have noticed that March is near enough with us – you know what that means? New free games!

The Xbox Games With Gold scheme for March brings another four free titles to Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners. With two dropping on each format, and the 360 offerings also becoming available to download on Xbox One thanks to the Backwards Compatibility feature, it’s a good time for all. Especially if you’ve never played the awesome Borderlands, Lords of the Fallen, Crimes & Punishment or Supreme Commander 2.

We will of course let you know exactly when you can download the new games for nothing, but that of course means the free games for February (that’ll be Hand of Fate, Styx: Master of Shadows and Gears of War 2) should be downloaded asap. Time is fast running out!

The career mode will span six different career types, whilst those who have a penchant for all things online, will be able to participate in a number of events across the multiplayer modes too.

THE coolest additions however will no doubt come in the form of the numerous powerups that are available to check out. Carmageddon promises to be full of fun and non-stop laughs – something the crazy powerups will bring in spades!

This War of Mine: The Little Ones Review

thiswarofmineheader

Need a new way to experience war on Xbox One? Fed up with the over the top fighting, fast paced running and bullet spraying? This War of Mine: The Little Ones lets us see war from the other side…a side that is very rarely considered.

Placed into the shoes of a group of ordinary people, all of whom are struggling to survive in harsh wartime conditions, This War of Mine constantly asks questions, not only of the characters themselves, but of you, the player. You may attempt to play through things in the best possible way with the kindest of intentions at the forefront of your mind, but when food is scarce, something has to give.

Ever wondered what happens when you are desperate? I mean really desperate? You’ll probably find out when you play This War of Mine on Xbox One. We certainly did.

The Flame in the Flood Review

the flame pic 2

The Flame in the Flood is a bit of a stunner. Not only does it come complete with a huge procedurally generated river, bringing randomness throughout, but it is accompanied by some superb visuals, a great crafting system and a musical soundtrack that bests near on any other video game.

We urge you to step into the shoes of Scout as you attempt to navigate the winding river, scrounge for resources and fight off the vicious wildlife as you attempt to survive. Do you have what it takes? Should you be splashing the cash on another survival title? Our review tells all.

Rocket League Review

You may have heard of Rocket League! This week we leave you with our review of the hottest game in the video gaming world.

Mixing football with driving, Rocket League is quite possibly the ultimate team based ‘sport’ – one in which you’ll find a huge amount of pleasure as a solo player, but even more when you hit the pitch with friends from around the world. With a wicked pace, the chance to show off brute strength or sublime skills, Psyonix have delivered in spades.

If you haven’t yet picked it up, then we urge you to get your download moving right now. The Xbox One Games Store should be your next port of call, but make sure you take a look at our review too. It’ll be more than enough to tempt you in to a purchase.

…and if that isn’t enough for you to get excited about, Batman is coming to Rocket League with the announcement of the awesome Batmobile DLC. Kapow!

That’s it for another seven days. Feel free to check out all of the above and don’t forget to let us know which were your favourite stories and reviews of the week. Catch you soon.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
