Available to purchase and download today on Xbox and PlayStation, Candle Knight is a mesmerising metroidvania from the JanduSoft and Dracma Studios teams. It throws players into a land of discovery, as they fight back against the darkness with fire…

Priced at £10.49, Candle Knight will see you going into battle fully equipped. Or at least with a flame in tow as you navigate your way through a ruined castle, tackling nasties and utilising your skills to overcome the most cryptic of puzzles. 

It runs as a 2.5D action adventure platformer, comes complete with a dynamic difficulty setting, provides plenty of mystery and is powered by an epic soundtrack. We’ll find out whether those things all come together as one in our full review of Candle Knight on Xbox.

You’ll find Candle Knight kicking around the usual digital storefronts. If you’re expecting to play on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S then the Xbox Store will be your best bet. Those on PS4 and PS5 should head to the PlayStation Store.
