Thought you’d finished dealing with the shuffling undead in The Escapists: The Walking Dead? Think again.
Team17 have today announced that The Escapists: The Walking Dead on Xbox One and PC will today receive a free update…Survival Mode. It’ll bring all new gameplay where you get to grips with a herd of walkers, grunts and legends across three different levels set within The Walking Dead universe.
You’ll find yourself taking control of different characters, attempting to survive for as long as possible in the new Meriwether, Alexandria and Woodbury maps. Take control of Tyreese, Abraham and Michonne, all whilst being supported by fellow survivors including the iconic Rick, Carl and Glenn.
The Escapists: The Walking Dead Survival Mode will include new weapons and craftables with a mini gun, sniper rifle and revolver all available to get hands on with. Additionally, new achievements and leaderboards will give you that extra little reason to drop back in.
You will of course need The Escapists: The Walking Dead to play it…but you’ve already got that. Haven’t you?
