If you like your motor vehicles, and you like hardcore racing, then you will no doubt love the Dakar rally. Today is therefore your lucky day as the release date for Dakar 18 has been confirmed.
Coming from Bigmoon Entertainment, Dakar 18 will be bursting on to Xbox One, PS4 and PC come September 11th 2018.
Based on the world famous annual rally in South America, Dakar 18 promises to be the most realistic simulation of the biggest cross-country race in the world, featuring a variety of official vehicles and one of the biggest open worlds ever created.
What’s more, those planning on getting involved will have to use the real road books – provided by the pilots to the development team – to find their way across each of the 14 stages across Peru, Bolivia and Argentina.
You will also get the chance to compete in fierce online multiplayer races as well as playing offline to harness and grow navigation and racing skills, as Dakar 18 focuses on the realism and promises stunning visuals, faithfully representing many of the official vehicles and pilots for each of the five racing categories – Cars, Bikes, Trucks, Quads and SxS. In addition to all that, the game will feature a single player, online and splitscreen multiplayer experience.
