Mugsters is a physics-based, action puzzler in which you must try to outrun, out-manoeuvre and outsmart your enemies – all by experimenting with different sandbox levels, vehicles, environmental traps and explosives. And today Team17 have announced that it’ll be with us very, very, soon.

In fact, 17th July is the date you need to worry about as that is when Mugsters will drop on to Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC. Coming in with a price tag of £9.99/$14.99, Mugsters will see you placed in multiple situations, leaving you to work out the best plan of action from there on out.

With over 30 vehicles included, you can be sure that there will be a suitable getaway vehicle for you, with cars, bikes, helicopters, planes and even ice-cream vans all present. But before you take to the roads and plan your escape, you should remember these important rules:

  • AWARENESS – Have awareness of your surroundings and those around you. Vehicles can help you in various ways so assess your situation before jumping behind the wheel.
  • SAFETY – Every situation can become dangerous if you don’t consider all outcomes. You’ll never forgive yourself for accidentally driving over a cliff…or over your friend.
  • SKILL – Remember that practice makes you better at not crashing into walls and running yourself over. A variety of vehicles means a variety of handling and driving styles so find what works for you!
  • DEFEND – When enemies are massing attack can be the best form of defence. Transform your vehicle into a battering ram and get the heck out of there!

Once 17th July comes around, we’ll be sure to remind you to get that purchase in. Until then though – it’s trailer time!
