Ratalaika Games are well know for cheap porting of fun little titles onto Xbox One, PS4, PS Vita and Nintendo Switch. And that is why we are here again today as they drop the interesting Ganbare! Super Strikers to console.
First created by the team at Rese Games, Ratalaika are up to their usual porting tricks here with the release of Ganbare! Super Strikers today on Xbox One, PS4 and PS Vita. With a Nintendo Switch launch approved for the green light come Feb 28th 2020, if you’re in the market for a football game with a difference, this looks to suffice.
Ganbare! Super Strikers takes the tried and tested football game (or soccer if you prefer), and mixes it with some Tactical RPG elements, much like that of Football, Tactics & Glory from a few weeks back. And that combo means that this comes across as a very different animal to your usual FIFA and PES experiences, seeing you create your own team and trying to take them to utter glory.
You’ll do this by winning matches, and winning breeds winning in Super Strikers as you get the opportunity to learn new abilities, boost player stats and work some wicked witchcraft against all manner of status effects. With more than 35 abilities in house, a decent range of specials, local multiplayer for up to 8 players, and both the chance to compete in the standard 11v11 or slightly smaller 7v7 match ups, there certainly seems to be a fair amount of content included here.
