aca neogeo twinkle star sprites

What can be better than getting one Neogeo port to Xbox One a week? How about two? That’s what we’re getting this time around as ACA Neogeo Twinkle Star Sprites on Xbox One arrives.

Following on from seeing ACA Neogeo Cyber-Lip arrive on Xbox One a couple of days ago, we know see the porting library expand once more with ACA Neogeo Twinkle Star Sprites on Xbox One.

Priced up at £6.09, if you can get away from the frankly stupid name, then you’ll find an experience that was first delivered to gamers 22-odd years ago – way back in 1996. Released back then by SNK, Twinkle Star Sprites is a competitive shooter that sees you going head-to-head with a friend as you utilise chains, power shots and massive bombs in order to defeat enemies.

You’ll do this by scooting around the sky and filling the screen with lead as you go about trying to replicate the fun that was had first time around ‘back in the day’.

Whether that works nowadays, in a gaming landscape that is entirely different to that which was in vogue in 1996 is anyone’s guess, but should you wish to give ACA Neogeo Twinkle Star Sprites on Xbox One a shot, then you could do worse than hit up the Xbox Store and get a purchase in.

Let us know if you do decide to check it out. The comments section is down below.
