It’s hard to believe that we are already at Week 7 of Season 2 in terms of content for the brilliant DiRT Rally 2.0 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. But we are, and with that comes the chance to get behind the wheel of a number of rally monsters once more – this time as we attempt to tame the Wales Rally.
The Wales Rally is the latest DLC addition for DiRT Rally 2.0, following on from the trips to Latvia and Sweden which we’ve already partaken in. This time round though it is the Welsh forests which play host to our racing time, as the hilly climbs and wet, slippery, forests push our driving skills to the utter limit.
Throw in the fact that many hazards will be found as you speed your way through the course, and you’ll fast discover how this latest DLC addition to the game is one that many will find hugely appealing.
In order to get involved in the madness of the Wales Rally on Xbox One, you will have to pay the Xbox Store a little visit, unless of course you previously dipped in with a purchase of the Deluxe Edition of the game, which will already see you right. You’ll also find this available for PS4 and PC players to enjoy, whilst the Wales Rally itself will be able to be found in-game via the My Team, Custom Championships and Time Trial options.
Let us know in the comments below if you decide to spend some time heading across the Severn Bridge and into the wet wilds of Wales. And don’t forget that in a couple of weeks time, Week 9 of the DiRT Rally 2.0 Season Two content drops will arrive, bringing with it the Lancia Delta S4 Rallycross and MG Metro 6R4 Rallycross
Situated in the hilly regions of Wales, this rally pushes drivers to the limit as they navigate the often wet and slippery forest sections and high speed sections in between. Receiving little traffic aside from forestry maintenance, the road surface is made up of heavier gravel on a hard-packed road base creating an unforgiving rally for drivers with many hazards dotted around the course. Wales Rally will be accessible through My Team, Custom Championships and Time Trial
