It’s been in creation since 2015, with the single developer at Onerat Games pushing on with creating a stunningly dark world full of challenge and narrative. Now though, with Another Indie hopping on board to help it move through the final stages, Elden: Path to the Forgotten is gearing up for release… something which will be occurring later this year.
A top-down pixel art action title, Elden: Path to the Forgotten will be released on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC by the publishing team at Another Indie in 2019. And it is then when we’ll get the chance to take in a promising world that comes alive thanks to a deep narrative, challenging elements and epic battles against Lovecraftian enemies and bosses.
Elden: Path to the Forgotten will let you run with things in your own way too, with style experimentation key to seeing success unfold. This means that you’ll be found utilising many unique weapons and spells, all while being pushed along with a minimalistic, yet atmospheric, soundtrack.
Key features of Elden include:
- Explore a stunning and encapsulating dark world containing assorted, challenging, and narrative layered lands.
- Immerse yourself in epic battles against abhorrent Lovecraftian enemies and bosses.
- Play your style by experimenting with a wide variety of unique weapons and powerful spells.
- Be haunted by a gorgeous and minimalistic soundtrack.
- Elden: Path to the Forgotten will be playable at PAX East, if you would like a hands-on appointment to try the game, just let us know.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated with the development and progress of Elden: Path to the Forgotten, letting you know once a fully confirmed Xbox One release date is known. For now though, if you’re attending PAX East, make sure you check the game out.
If you aren’t, you’ll have to make do with the announcement trailer below.
