Embark on an Xbox-fuelled Kraken Odyssey

A new 3D action racer that evokes games of yesteryear, Kraken Odyssey bursts onto the Xbox world. 

Kraken Odyssey should grab the minds of Xbox players thanks to the £12.49 price tag in place. From there, playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, is an all-new adventure, one in which you’ll be found trying to help little Voulpy find his lost brother. 

A new old-school 3D platformer

Standard 3D platforming story-fare out of the way, Kraken Odyssey from Honikou Games lands on Xbox thanks to the Just For Games team. And it looks to be a bit of a delightful romp too. As we get the chance to hurtle at full speed around the worlds provided. 

There are multiple lands too, unlockable, ready for adventuring. These will take you across the beach, up some mountains, down into the dungeons and more. Again, standard stuff for a game of this ilk, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t exctied to give it a whirl. 

Various forms of traps, obstacles and enemies will be in your way throughout Kraken Odyssey. Of course, we suspect just as much from a game tasking us to become the coolest kraken in the land. But keeping clear of danger should be at the fore of your mind. 

With a delicate, delightful visual style and a number of customes to wear, there should well be a bit of an appeal in what is found in Kraken Odyssey.
