Video game cover star is a big deal and the WWE cover star announcement is no different. Today, 2K have announced that Seth Rollins will be the main man for WWE 2K18.
Be like no one. Four words that sum up WWE Superstar Seth Rollins. Four words that are a master class in describing his unmatched work ethic, disruptive mindset and definitive WWE career. After joining WWE way back in 2010, Rollins has most definitely done things on his own terms. Destined to be different and forge his own trail, taking no prisoners as he went, the first accomplishment for Seth was to become inaugural NXT Champion in 2012, putting everyone on high alert.
From there he made his WWE main roster debut at the Survivor Series later that year, aligned with WWE Superstars Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose to form The Shield™ and rallied against authority. The accolades continued to follow: two-time WWE Champion, United States Champion, WWE Tag Team Champion and “Mr. Money in the Bank,” to name a few. Now, “The Kingslayer” stands tall after a definitive checkmate: defeating Triple H on WWE’s grandest stage at WrestleMania 33.
Seems like a decent time to take to the cover of WWE 2K18 then as it prepares to release on Xbox One and PS4 come October 17th 2017.

But the coverstar announcement isn’t the only WWE news today as 2K have also announced details surrounding the premium offerings and their scheduled release dates:
WWE 2K18 Deluxe Edition
Players who purchase the WWE 2K18 Deluxe Edition, available in both physical and digital varieties, at participating retailers will receive Early Access to their game copies and in-game bonuses beginning four days early on Friday, October 13, 2017 for PS4 and Xbox One. The WWE 2K18 Deluxe Edition includes the following items:
· Copy of WWE 2K18 video game with Deluxe Edition packaging;
· Access to Season Pass content (details announced this fall);
· Access to WWE 2K18 pre-order bonus digital content (details announced this summer);
· Additional WWE 2K18 Collector’s Edition digital content (details announced this summer).
WWE 2K18 Collector’s Edition
Players who purchase the WWE 2K18 Collector’s Edition at participating retailers will also receive Early Access to their game copies and in-game bonuses beginning four days early on Friday, October 13, 2017 for PS4 and Xbox One. Details of the WWE 2K18 Collector’s Edition, as well as the ability to pre-order this version of the game, will be available later this summer.
