It’s been teased for a little while but now we have official confirmation of the next Mortal Kombat game….Mortal Kombat X.
In a tweet from Ed Boon, co-creator of MK and the Creative Director at NetherRealm Studios, the game was officially announced.
The name of the game is "Mortal Kombat X"

And then there’s the small matter of the announcement trailer….be warned though, the usual Mortal Kombat blood and guts are back!
We’ll hopefully have more details soon but all signs point to an Xbox One and Xbox 360 release for MKX.
