Things are a little quieter over the next seven days on the Xbox front, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a massive blockbuster game heading to stores. One of the biggest first-person shooters is almost here, and it’s going old school. So let’s get stuck in and find out what new games are ‘In Stores This Week’ for Xbox One and Xbox 360.
Call of Duty: WWII – 3rd November – Xbox One
Forget the recent futuristic outings of the Call of Duty series, with wall-running and shooting in space, because it’s time to get boots back on the ground in a World War II setting.
Expect fast-paced combat across some of the most iconic locations of the war in both the campaign and the multiplayer side of proceedings. The campaign follows the renowned 1st Infantry Division in a cinematic experience which sees players storming the beaches of Normandy on D-Day, marching through France to liberate Paris and then pushing on into Germany for the ultimate battle. Call of Duty: WWIII also brings the narrative-driven War multiplayer mode, a Nazi Zombies co-op mode, and a Headquarters for gamers to better engage with each other.
