The sun is shining and the cycling community are ready to embrace the most famous bicycle race in the world, the Tour de France. With the newly announced official video game on its way, Tour de France 2017, even you could grasp the coveted yellow jersey!
The Tour de France 2017 game will allow gamers to experience the passion of Le Tour de France, playing as the greatest riders from the 22 official teams included, as you race on the gorgeous roads of La Grande Boucle. Prepare to challenge for the yellow jersey from Düsseldorf through to Belgium, Luxembourg, and Marseille etc., with the race culminating on the Champs-Elysées in Paris. As well as featuring the Tour itself, there’ll also be a Challenge mode to tackle, a local co-op and versus mode, and the opportunity to build a dream team in Pro Team mode.
There will of course be a strategic element to proceedings, with you having to manage your stamina and make decisions to ensure your team reaches its maximum potential. Tempo management is set to be a critical feature too, especially as a means to eliminate the opposition. Tour de France 2017 is expected to have an enhanced AI system, as well as an improved realism to the climbs, descents, stamina management and race pace.
