Everyone loves to Skype, no? Well, maybe you’ll now love to Skype on your Xbox One even more!
The Skype app has been available to all Xbox Live Gold members via the Xbox One since launch and today that app has been updated to make the whole experience that little bit better.
You can find the full details over on the Skype blog but improving the chat aspect of things is something we’ve been looking for. The chat is now synced with any conversation on PC, phone and Xbox One and comes with push notifications for up to 1000 messages as opposed to the last 7 days. You are also now able to filter your contacts by who is online, so the tiresome effort of having to go through your entire contacts list to find someone is now gone.
Additionally, Skype now has ‘hidden heroes’ emoticons based on Captain America: The Winter Soldier characters, a first time tutorial system and a number of bugs fixed.
It just keeps getting better!
