If you’ve been looking forward to TERA, the upcoming adventure from En Masse Entertainment then the latest announcement is surely one you’ll be happy about.
Starting on March 9th, 2018, players will be able to jump in to the TERA Open Beta as it arrives on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Those unfamiliar with TERA will find the game bringing a classic high fantasy MMORPG adventure to enjoy.
With a vast world to explore, and plenty of BAMs (Big Ass Monsters) to take down, you’ll need to utilise some of the finest combat skills possible whilst actively dodging the countless attacks sent your way.
TERA has many of the typical MMORPG features present such as questing, crafting and player versus player action. The game utilises a real-time battle system that incorporates a third-person camera view in combat. Whilst the Open Beta will of course have limited content – it is a Beta after all – there will be more than enough available to help players get to grips with what is to come later.
“TERA’s development team at Bluehole, Inc. has taken great care to adapt the vast world of TERA and it’s best-in-genre action combat to console platforms,” said Matt Denomme, Sr. Product Manager at En Masse Entertainment. “We feel the results speak for themselves and we’re excited to get the game in the hands of players during our upcoming Open Beta event weekend. Consoles need a solid MMORPG and TERA is prepared to deliver.”
Those interested in the upcoming TERA Open Beta will find access starting from 2:00 p.m. GMT on March 9th, 2018, and it will run through to March 12th, 2018 at 8:00 p.m. GMT.
The full game will be available on Xbox One and PS4 this spring.
