mortal kombat 11

The release of Mortal Kombat 11 is fast approaching but still the character roster keeps growing. Today we see a brand new fighter prepare to make his debut – The Kollector.

Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios have today confirmed the latest character who will be joining the Mortal Kombat 11 roster. The Kollector will be found making his debut in Mortal Kombat when the latest game drops on to Xbox One, PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch come April 23rd 2019, adding to the already huge roster.

The Kollector was born into poverty and seized his collections duty with a zeal that impressed Shao Kahn, becoming one of the Emperor’s most feared associates. As more of a corrupt, mafia enforcer than a government official, The Kollector stole riches from Outworld’s people, rewarding himself with wealth and status in turn, but when Shao Kahn died, Kotal Kahn vowed to weed out the former regime’s corruption. After years in hiding, living off his ill-gotten gains, The Kollector was captured and now faces execution, determined to destroy anyone in his path.

The addition of The Kollector sees the number of confirmed playable fighters in Mortal Kombat 11 increase further, with the likes of Scorpion, Raiden, Sub-Zero, Sonya Blade, Skarlet, Baraka, Geras, Kano, D’Vorah, Kabal, Jade, Johnny Cage, Cassie Cage, Erron Black, Jacqui Briggs, Kotal Kahn, Noob Saibot, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Jax Briggs, and Cetrion all in place alongside The Kollector. What’s more, there are apparently still some more exciting reveals coming in the weeks ahead.

If you wish to know what sets The Kollector apart from the others, make sure you hit up the trailer below. If you like what you are seeing then getting your money in early and pre-ordering Mortal Kombat 11 should really be the way to go – if only because it’ll ensure you get access to Shao Kahn from the outset!
