Welcome to the wonderful woolly world of Woven, as the indie developer, Alterego Games, and their publisher, StickyLock launch the game on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC.

Available to walk through right now on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC, Woven provides a woollen gameplay experience in which you follow the live of Stuffy, a clumsy guy who would just be happy to wander his world in peace. But as with any gaming experience, things don’t quite go to plan, and it’ll be up to you to help Stuffy work his way through this epic adventure.

In Woven though, your Stuffy may be totally different to someone else’s Stuffy, with discoverable blueprints letting you modify and alter his shape. Do you need strong elephant legs for the task ahead? Or would that jump be more suited to rabbit legs? There are a multitude of options available in Woven, and with plenty of secrets to hunt down, should find an adventure that slowly unfolds ahead of you.

Throw in a unique ambience, soundtrack and story, and the £16.74 price tag that Woven runs with doesn’t seem too bad at all. Of course, as always, our full review will be able to stuff you up with the finer details – make sure you keep an eye out for it in the days ahead.

In the meantime, head on over to a digital store near you and pick up Woven right now. The Xbox Store will sort out Xbox One gamers, whilst those playing on PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch will discover their own stores more than capable of deliverance.

Let us know if you think Alterego and StickyLock are on to a winner with this wonderful Woven world. The comments are below.

Game Description:

Welcome to Woven Welcome to a world where woollen creatures once lived in peace. Stuffy is a well-meaning but rather clumsy stuffed animal that wanders the world alone. Glitch is a metal firefly that has lost its memory and identity. Was Stuffy left behind? Where did all these machines suddenly come from? And what does Glitch have to do with any of this? Join them on their journey through a world of wool, fabric and hidden dangers.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
