This weeks Xbox Live Deals with Gold sale is up, running and filled with bargains for both Xbox One and Xbox 360 gamers. But which of the many reduced games should you pick up?

Well, it’s certainly pretty tempting to get involved with the discounts on Forza Horizon 2 and Evolve, but three we think you’d be silly to miss are as follows…

Threes – Xbox One – Currently reduced to £2.80/$3.50 (50% off)

Probably the easiest pick up and play title available on Xbox One, Threes! is a must buy, if only to waste a few minutes with when you’re watching the ads on TV.

Available as a snap-in game, Threes! utilises the unique Xbox One Snap mode and gives you the opportunity to relax with a simple to play, tough to master puzzler whilst you’re watching TV, Netflix or the like.

Everyone knows the premise behind the game but if you need a bit of convincing, take a look at our review. For less than £3 though, you can’t really go wrong.

Borderlands – Xbox 360 – Currently reduced to £3.74/$4.99 (75% off)

Bit of a no-brainer this one. With The Handsome Collection out on Xbox One this week, we would have put our house on the fact that some form of Borderlands title would be discounted this week. As it is, the original is a great starting point for Xbox 360 owners to get involved in the Pandorian Borderlands universe.

You won’t complete it in a weekend mind, Borderlands will bring you many many hours of fast paced leveling up gun-play and even more hours of exploration.

If you’ve never even experienced the ramblings of Claptrap then you don’t know what you’re missing!

Hitman Blood Money – Xbox 360 – Currently reduced to £2.99/$4.99 (75% off)

It takes a special kind of someone to enjoy the stealth genre, but if that someone is you, then you could do worse than take a punt on Hitman Blood Money.

For the stupidly low price of £2.99, you’ll get to follow 2007’s Agent 47 tale, as he goes about killing, killing and um, killing in the most stealthy of ways. You’ll need to be on your guard as 47 attempts to navigate his way past numerous security cameras and guards whilst completing his missions.

Even if you aren’t a fan of the slow-paced stealth nature that Hitman games bring, you may as well take a look at this price!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
