Legionary Outfit Asterix & Obelix XXL 3

Ever wanted to dress up and create havoc among a bunch of well trained troops? With the latest DLC packs for Asterix & Obelix XXL 3, you can do just that.

Available to purchase and add into your base game right now are two new downloadable content pieces for Asterix & Obelix XXL3: The Crystal Menhir, that of the Viking and the Legionaire. And the best thing about them both is that they’ll add a huge amount of enjoyment to your game, without ever breaking the bank.

Priced up at ÂŁ1.69 each, the Legionary Outfit and Viking Outfit DLC packs do pretty much as you would expect – they let you dress up in new gear before taking on the forces of all evil.

With delightful brown and green hues to contend with, should you have been one of the many who dipped in with the launch of Asterix & Obelix XXL3: The Crystal Menhir back in November 2019, and are looking for some form of rhyme or reason to head back once more, these provide it.

Okay, so they are not going to be game changing additions, and mere skin updates are pretty personal to each and every gamer, but for the cheap asking price, and the fun they bring, we think it’s just about worthwhile grabbing them.

As always the usual digital stores will provide the goods, with our own personal fav being that of the Xbox Store. Just be aware that you’ll need the base game to hand first – and if you haven’t played that yet then our full review of Asterix & Obelix XXL3: The Crystal Menhir on Xbox One should be taken in.

But from there on out, you’re good to go and wreck havoc amongst the Roman troops!

Let us know in the comments if that sounds appealing. We’d love to hear from you.

About Asterix & Obelix XXL3:

An adventure to share, full of fun, slapping and friendship. The year is 50 B.C. Gaul is entirely occupied by the Romans. Well, not entirely… One small village of indomitable Gauls still holds out against the invaders. And life is not easy for the Roman legionaries who garrison the fortified camps of Totorum, Aquarium, Laudanum and Compendium. Peace reigns in the small Armorican village, where the villagers go about their daily business. Our two heroes, Asterix and Obelix, hunt wild boars, the blacksmith and the fishmonger quarrel, and the village chief strolls around the village square atop his shield. One day, the village druid, Getafix, receives a strange message. It is from Avina Gandir, the high priestess of Thule! She warns the druid of a grave threat to her people and asks him to take a mysterious Menhir out of its hiding place… Set off on an exciting adventure and immerse yourself in the world of Asterix! Alone or in co-op, explore the lands of the Roman empire and unravel the mystery of the Crystal Menhir and its incredible powers!
