We’ve recently had the opportunity to hit the starting grid with Project Cars 2 and Toybox Turbos, explore the wonderful world of Fable, and take in some delightful turn-based RPGing with Knights of Pen and Paper. The best bit about it? We’ve been able to do all this for free. Today though it’s time to look forward as May 2020 begins to approach and the next set of Xbox freebies are confirmed via the Xbox Games With Gold scheme.
It’s always great to get access to new games as an Xbox player, and the Xbox Games With Gold scheme is certainly one of the highlights for anyone looking to expand their digital library. With May 2020 very nearly in place, once more we see the big dogs at Microsoft HQ providing access to four new games, with the following gifted throughout the month…
- V-Rally 4 – Xbox One – 1st-31st May 2020
- Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr – Xbox One – 16th May – 15th June 2020
- Sensible World of Soccer – Xbox 360 – 1st-15th May 2020
- Overlord II – Xbox 360 – 16th-31st May 2020
As always in order to get access to any of these games for nothing, you’ll need to be the holder of a valid Xbox Live Gold subscription. Getting hold of one of those is a cinch, but we personally love to get our 12 months sub from the team at CDKeys. With it in place, the prices of the four games listed about will be dropped down to zero durning the dates shown, allowing full free downloads to take place.
With these new titles though means that those which have come before it – the Xbox Games With Gold titles for April 2020 – will soon be going up in price. If you haven’t yet downloaded Project Cars 2, Knights of Pen and Paper Bundle or Toybox Turbos then you should do so at the very earliest opportunity. Fail to action those downloads and you’ll see them costing you a pretty penny next time you wish to give them a look.
