The Two Point Hospital expands with the new JUMBO Edition on Xbox, PlayStation and Switch

When Two Point Studios and SEGA came together to deliver Two Point Hospital to console, we were amazed at their success. For years PC ports to console have struggled in transition as controls get muddied and visuals fail to excite. But Two Point Hospital bucked the trend by nailing pretty much every aspect that was required. Since that time the game has been treated to a ton of feature updates, improvements and more, with that culminating today in the launch of Two Point Hospital: JUMBO Edition on Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch. And it really is JUMBO!

Available to purchase and download right now from the Xbox Store for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, the PlayStation Store for PS4 and PS5 and the Nintendo eShop for Switch, Two Point Hospital: JUMBO Edition is the edition you will want to get your grubby mitts on.

Priced at £34.99 and discounted down to £27.99 should you have a Game Pass membership, the JUMBO Edition is easily the best-value bundle you are likely to get. You see, not only does it bring in to play the absolutely brilliant base game, but four additional premium expansions are included, along with a couple of item packs. That means you get to play around with – sorry, manage – no less than 27 different hospitals, work your magic with 189 weird and wonderful illnesses and ensure that every damn nook and cranny is stuffed full with objects of desire.

In all the JUMBO Edition of Two Point Hospital on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch features the Bigfoot expansion, that of Pebberley Island, the Close Encounters addition and that of Off The Grid. Details of each as follows:

  • Bigfoot brings you to the wintery region of Pointy Mountains, where local celebri-yeti Bartholomew F. Yeti, has been petitioning for better healthcare. Mr Yeti will need your help, curing new illnesses such as Cold Shoulder, Bard Flu, and Aurora Snorealis!
  • In Pebberley Island you begin your adventures in the gentle climes of Pebberley Reef, before pushing into dense, unexplored country in Overgrowth, to finally conquer the stunning Topless Mountain as you attempt to unlock the lost secret of eternal youth.
  • In Close Encounters rumours persist of an out of this world encounter. Deal with conspiracies, secret facilities and more unusual illnesses like Science Friction and Lack of Humanity. Maybe you’ll get to see some aliens…
  • For anyone who’s more into Green Things and Mother Nature… no problem! In Off The Grid you’ll manage new and exciting gameplay mechanics. Visit Two Point County’s first eco-city, get gardening and don’t catch any Root Snoot or Green Fingers!

You can then also add oddities found in the Retro Items Pack or the Exhibition Items Pack.

The full Two Point Hospital: JUMBO Edition is probably the best way to get access to all these goodies, but if you’ve already been slaving away looking for stars in the base game, each and every pack is available to purchase individually too.

If you’re looking to embark on a new medical career, head to your favoured digital store and pick up the most suitable option. The bolded links above will sort you out if you’re looking for the Xbox varieties.

Game Description:

With over 3 million happy players, find out why Two Point Hospital is a healthcare phenomenon! Take your hospital-building business experience to the next level, with four huge expansions and two additional DLCs, all bundled into an extraordinary Jumbo Edition that’s bursting at the seams with LOADS OF STUFF!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
