Dark Nights with Poe and Munro is an FMV consisting of a collection of supernatural tales about late night radio hosts – and secret lovers – John ‘Poe’ Pope and Ellis Munro. You see, weird things happen in the quaint town of August, which leads to Poe and Munro launching their own investigations into such occurrences. They stumble upon all sorts, including talking paintings that create wishes, jilted lovers returning from the dead in the hope of finding everlasting closure, and people turning into trees.
There are six episodes in total, with each lasting 20-30 minutes and featuring up to 29 “hotspot” decision points. At these points, you can choose where the titular duo go and what they do in order to help them uncover hidden secrets and engage with the rather strange residents. Your choices will determine what story branches you traverse and which endings you arrive at. The most important job you have though, is keeping Poe and Munro together and alive!
