New cars, events, sponsors, achievements and more arrive as DIRT 5 goes Super Sized

We saw Codemasters go big upon launch of DIRT 5 back in November 2020 with a game that was laden with content. But since then racers have been treated to a ton of new events and cars through the additional drops like the Uproar Content Pack and Energy Content Pack. Now though we’re being treated to even more goodies and with the arrival of the DIRT 5 Super Size Pack, players will get access to new cars, new events, new sponsors, additional Xbox achievements and more. 

Available to purchase and add into your DIRT 5 base game right now, the Super Size Content Pack is the latest DLC offering to arrive in-game.

Priced at £9.99, the Super Size Content Pack is more definitely befitting of its name. It comes with 4 new cars, no less than 27 additional career events, a couple of new career sponsors, a ton of livery options, further sticks, some lanyards and more. 

Car wise there are some big names included – the Bentley Continental GT Ice Race Car for starters. That is joined on the dirt-y grid by the Armada Rock Racer, the VW Atlas Cross Sport Baja Concept and the beefy Rezvani Tank. 

You’ll get to race these beasts across more than 27 new bespoke events too, taking in the new São Conrado circuit and Rio Seafront that adds to the list of Brazilian tracks available in-game. If you’re looking for thrilling circuit racing across mud and sand, these are going to deliver it. 

But there’s more and the new Sponsors come in the form of Toblerone and Power Maxed, both of which will bring forth new objectives.

Available on Xbox, PlayStation and PC, with a drop onto Google Stadia a little later down the line, Super Size also throws in 5 more Xbox achievements worth 200 Gamerscore as follows:

If you thought that was good, DIRT 5 doesn’t stop there. You see, alongside new stickers, lanyards and the like is a new update to the Playgrounds side of things too. The Parts Unknown Playgrounds Update deals in all things sci-fi, with 20 new items  and a new Area-51 location option all present.

The Super Size Content Pack certainly lives up to its name, with four huge off-road machines ready to take on all terrain and all challengers. First up, our cover star: the Bentley Continental GT Ice Racer. Don’t be fooled by the name – whilst this Ice Racer will indeed be right at home on sub-zero surfaces at New York, Norway, and Nepal, this 626bhp monster will tear up all surfaces in DIRT 5 on its 22-inch rims; a perfect blend of class and performance, taken to the extreme. Whilst the Bentley joins the Rally GT class, the Armada Rock Racer is our second entry to DIRT 5’s monstrous Rock Bouncer class. This intimidating machine, with huge ridged tyres and minimal chassis, is built to take on our most dangerous terrain in point-to-point Path Finder events. For the Cross Raid class comes the Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport Baja Concept – The Atlas has the power and endurance to conquer any off-road challenge, being a suped-up race version of the already-mighty crossover VW. Finally, a truly unique all-terrain option for your DIRT 5 garage: the Rezvani Tank. With its roots beginning with a Jeep Wrangler, the Rezvani takes everything up a notch: Power (over 1000bhp!), bodywork (bulletproof armour!) and insane ridged tyres. Head to the Pre-Runner class to try and tame the Tank. The Super Size pack further expands DIRT 5’s Career mode with another 25 bespoke events to take on in a new chapter.
