What is the scariest thing about Murder House on Xbox? Is it the creepy killer in the bunny costume, or all the gory and bloody murders that take place? In reality, it is neither. The scariest thing about Murder House is actually the tank controls. Even on the games info page it states you will not enjoy Murder House if you don’t like tank controls. Those of you that never played a videogame in the late 90’s have been warned. For everyone else, Murder House is available today on Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.
Murder House is a throwback to the origins of survival horror games such as Resident Evil and Silent Hill: fixed camera angles, no auto saves, b-movie acting and of course, the tank controls.
After a convicted serial killer has been executed, a news crew travel to his abandoned house to shoot an exclusive story there. The question is though, is this serial killer really dead? The answer will only be found if you venture into the Murder House. Just ignore the guy in the pink bunny costume; he’s nothing to do with the strange events occurring, is he?
Featuring delightfully schlocky voice acting and CRT filters, Murder House is looking to be a great addition to whatever you are planning this Halloween. And at least it saves you dragging out your VCR player to play your “classics”.
Murder House on Xbox will cost £9.99. Stay tuned for a review coming soon. For now, let us know in the comments if you welcome the return of tank controls.
