If you have already played Arcade Paradise, then you will have probably wondered how so of the games within aren’t standalone releases already. Given the quality of many of the arcade games, it is a reasonable assumption. Well, that presumption does sort of come true today, as the latest DLC cabinet is a licensed game, making its debut on Xbox to boot. Kung Fury: Street Rage is the new DLC for Arcade Paradise on Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.
Kung Fury: Street Rage is – as the name lends to – channelling the likes of Streets of Rage, Final Fight and more recently, Final Vendetta. A side-scrolling beat ‘em up, you take to the streets of Miami to deliver justice, one punch at a time.
Choose from one of four playable characters:
- Kung Fury: A balanced brawler with the ability to shock punch enemies and an average health pool
- Hackerman: A glass cannon combination of sci-fi wizardry and high APM blasting action!
- Barbarianna: Axe the real questions to charge up your fearsome firepower with a minigun – but watch for low health!
- Triceracop: Extinction? Not on his watch. It’s a dinosaur with a gun, LOTS of guns! And lots of health!
But this is a DLC for Arcade Paradise, so also includes all the functionality you would expect from the main game: Online leaderboards, goals, objectives, and a sweet new cabinet to proudly display in your arcade.
Kung Fury: Street Rage is the latest DLC for Arcade Paradise and is out now on the Xbox Store priced at £2.49. Despite being a fully licensed game, it cannot be played outside of Arcade Paradise, but the base game can be picked up for £16.74 if you still need it. And you should, as it is an excellent game.
