The skies await as Ayre and the Crystal Comet soars onto Xbox and PlayStation

-

ayre and the crystal comet

When you go adventuring with the last living dragon at your side, you can be sure the journey you go on will be one of excitement, interest and intrigue. It’s just that which Ayre and the Crystal Comet brings.

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, as well as on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 is Ayre and the Crystal Comet. An open-skies adventure that comes about via the Eastasiasoft and Gordon Little teams, this low-poly arted story has you taking on the role of Ayre, a young girl who has the most rarest of companions – the last of the living dragons. It’s up to you to help Ayre travel the lands around her, uncovering secrets, exploring the hidden depths, all in hope of learning more about your little dragon friend.

It’s priced at £8.39 with a launch discount dropping that down for an initial period, delivering a chilled experience in which you’ll get to soar through the skies, dropping down as you see fit in hope of learning more. When you consider that combat pressures and stat management is removed, we’re not sure there are many games that are capable of offering up a totally relaxing adventure. That said, we’re getting Aery vibes from this one – with another level attached.

Some 64 square kilometres await, plus a whole ton more…

  • Fly anywhere you wish right from the beginning!
  • Explore 64 square kilometers filled with mountains, rivers, ruins and more!
  • Discover the history of a lost civilization without the threat of combat.
  • Relax as you roam freely, either on foot or atop dragon.
  • Collect gems and uncover the mysteries of the Crystal Comet.
  • Locate aerial ring races hidden throughout the land and put your skills to the test!

Give the trailer below a little watch, head over to the Xbox Store if you’re sold (or the PlayStation Store should you prefer) and grab yourself a purchase. It’s playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

Keep an eye out for our review.
