Rainbow Six Siege Operator System and Collector’s Edition announced!

It was announced today by Ubisoft that Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege will feature a brand new operator system. Also, those of you whom wish to get your hands on the latest title in the Rainbow Six series can now pre-order a Collector’s Edition.

We’ll start with the new operator system; these operators are specialist from five of the world’s top Special Forces units (SAS, SWAT etc.), each with their own unique expertise that will alter the strategies in place when it comes to team play. Players will have to be tactical in choosing operators which complement each other in order to create the best counter-terrorism unit and ultimately defeat the opposition.

Now, onto the pre-ordering side of things and no matter whether it is the regular version or Collector’s Edition, you’ll still manage to bag guaranteed access to the Closed Beta which is expected to begin later this year. If you pre-order the physical version from the Uplay Shop then there’ll be an exclusive numbered steelbook for you too.

Should the “Art of Siege Edition”, targeted at the collectors amongst us, be more to your liking then the contents may or may not excite you. Obviously it comes with the full game but also a collector’s box, a Gold Skins Pack for the in-game weapons and a very handy 120 page Tactical Guide.
