Currently in Early Access on PC, Merge Games have announced the full release date for their teeny tiny open-world multiplayer survival game – Smalland: Survive the Wilds. And as they do so, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 versions are confirmed.
A game which focuses on the world of Smallfolk, Smalland: Survive the Wilds is an intriguing prospect. It follows a tiny race of folk who are looking to conquer the lands left behind by a bunch of giants. But you can be sure that survival won’t be easy.
A small world
In Smalland: Survive the Wilds you’ll be found traversing puddles the size of lakes, huge trees, and the like. Further comes the chance to ride grasshoppers and geckos, as you navigate the world to the best of your abilities.
Having spent time in Early Access on PC, it’s now time for Smalland: Survive the Wilds to gear up for full release. It’ll be doing so by launching on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC come December 7th 2023.
New content will continue to be added to the PC game right up to launch, with that also being made available in the console editions. The game’s third major content update arrives in October, bringing a new biome, new creatures and more. And as you may expect to here, Smalland is set to receive continued support post-launch across PCand console with even more content in the works.

- Tame and ride wild creatures from Geckos to Spiders, the world and its inhabitants are yours to conquer
- Scavenge, refine and craft resources to build your encampment on the ground or in the canopy
- Claim a Great Tree to design and build a base that will follow you to any world
- Uncover ancient lore from hidden NPCs scattered throughout the world as you learn to survive in this hostile wilderness.
- Play solo or with up to 9 additional friends in multiplayer with crossplay between Steam and Epic Games Store
