House releases on Xbox

There’s no getting away from it, House releases onto Xbox to deliver a new horror experience to the gaming world. Will you fall into the darkness?

A pixelated horror

Available today as the latest horror experience to land on Xbox consoles, is House. It’s from the Bark Bark Games team, pushed along to the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S gaming masses by the publishing team of Glowstick Entertainment. But this seems like a horror like no other.

Running a price point of £12.49 from the Xbox Store, delve into House and you’ll find yourself playing as a young girl. It’s she who is front and centre of this adventure, as she steps forth into the most dangerous of homes. It’s this house which is a killer.

In fact, everything in House is out to kill you and your family, and so things play out as a bit of a race against time. The question is, can you work your way through the non-linear gameplay, the multiple endings the real-time reactions in hope of changing fate? if not, you’re going to succumb to the darkness itself.

Key features

  • Explore a house that changes and reacts to your actions in real-time
  • Race against time to save your family and yourself
  • Multiple endings to discover
  • Befriend or behead your family
  • Experiment with the different items to try and survive
  • Challenging, non-linear gameplay
  • Uncover the dark secrets of a twisted family

Buy House now on Xbox

House is available to purchase from the Xbox Store. It’s playable on both Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, fully optimised for the latter consoles.

Let us know if you decide to give this horror a punt.

I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
