We’ve still got a little while to wait, but Get Even looks very promising indeed, even if it does mean we have at least a year to wait for it!
A first person shooter at heart, Get Even will change the way we see the genre with a full on next gen experience. Not only will it include real-world scanning and photo-realistic visuals in order to bring the gritty world to life, but it will also include weapons that far exceed current capabilities, whilst still keeping within the boundaries of the real-world. Think of weapons that can fire round corners, whilst being linked in to the players smart phone and you get an idea of where The Farm 51 are trying to go with Get Even.
Additionally whilst a quick look at the the single player campaign seems to be more of what we are used to, in fact it seems that things will be far far different. The game will centre around the memories of it’s heroes and the route the player chooses will determine the characters personality as the game plays out. Mixing thrills, horror and a shed load of exploration, the story is one that we are already very interested in.
But there’s more, for single player isn’t only single player. It will also contain multiplayer elements in which others can join the game as enemies against the original single player, merging the two modes into one big single player/multiplayer mash up!
Have a watch of the trailer below, and prepare to be blown away when Get Even finds a release on Xbox One sometime in 2015.
