The end of the month is nigh and it’s time for us to start looking ahead to the free games which will be sent our way via the Xbox Games With Gold scheme for April 2017. Want to know which games that will be?
As always, you’ll need to first ensure you are the proud holder of a valid Xbox Live Gold membership. If you don’t, then not only will you have to pay the usual price for each of the four games below, but you’ll be missing out on a whole world of fun. Head on over to CDKeys and grab some of their super cheap Xbox Live Gold membership cards right now, after which you’ll be able to start getting excited about the following free titles…
- Ryse: Son of Rome – Xbox One – 1st-30th April 2017
- The Walking Dead: Season Two – Xbox One – 16th April 2017 – 15th May 2017
- Darksiders – Xbox 360 – 1st-15th April 2017
- Assassin’s Creed Revelations – Xbox 360 – 16th-30th April 2017
Upon first glance, April could be a rather decent month for Xbox Live Gold members. Don’t forget, you can still grab free copies of Heavy Weapon on both Xbox 360 and Xbox One, and both the Ultimate Edition of Evolve and Layers of Fear on Xbox One for a few more days yet. If you haven’t yet grabbed them, then get over to the Xbox Games Store immediately.
So, what do you think of the free games for April 2017? Are they worth a shot or does the whole scheme fall flat for you? Let us know in the comments below.
I’m amazed Ryse hadn’t appeared in GWG previously. I know I’m not the only one who had been wondering why it hadn’t.
Could this be just in time for some Ryse 2 announcement? Scorpio anyone?
Finally Ryse! I’ve contemplated buying that so many times. Glad I held out because I’m sure it would still be in my backlog
About time Ryse was part of GWG, cracking game that may finally see its multiplayer revived.
After playing a lot of For Honor I am looking forward to getting back into Ryse’s multiplayer
