Each week EA Sports creates a FIFA Ultimate Team Team of the Week (TOTW) based on players in the real world that are in form for that week. Take a look at the team that will be available for one week from 19th March at 6pm.
Steven Gerrard – Although both his goals were from the penalty spot, as the captain he rallied his Liverpool team towards a crucial victory over rivals Manchester United. He could have had a hat trick had he not hit the post on his third penalty. Are Liverpool actually on their way to winning a league title?
David Silva – A moment of madness looked certain to ruin a 10-man Manchester City’s afternoon in Hull before Silva smashed in a world class effort from outside the box. He then sealed the win as he slipped the ball through to Dzeko who scored late on. The whole game he hardly put a foot wrong and it’s performances like that which help the team move forward.
Jermain Defoe – If there’s ever a striker you’d bet on to bag a goal it is Defoe who was making his debut for Canadian team Toronto FC. Two goals from the Englishman ensured a win in the opening game of their season against Seattle Sounders. Oh how Tottenham could use him right now.
