The chances that you previously played, and hugely enjoyed, Alone in the Dark are quite high. Now though, its creator is back and the pioneer of the survival horror genre is taking us on a bit of a grim journey.

2Dark comes direct from Frédérick Raynal, he of Alone in the Dark fame. Priced at £23.99 for a digital download, 2Dark will take you on a journey of stealth, courage and corruption as you use all your cunning to investigate the child abduction horrors that have hit the city of Gloomywood. It’ll be up to you to uncover secrets, seek retribution and ensure the children of Gloomywood are taken to safety.

In order to do so, you’ll need to stick to the shadows and tread as carefully as possible. Light and sound can be both your ally and your enemy and with limited supplies of both torchlight batteries and bullets, you’ll need to make every item count.

If Alone in the Dark is anything to go by, 2Dark will be a bit of a hit. Make sure you check out the Xbox Games Store and get involved today.
