The guys and girls at Zen Studios pretty much have the virtual pinball market sewn up. Having created a number of stunning Pinball FX titles, all with multiple table types, game modes, leaderboards to chase and more, if you like pinball, then you’ll most definitely like what Zen have going. Occasionally though we see a newcomer try and burst onto the scene, attempting to muscle in on a space that is dominated by FX. Today we see that happen once more as Babylon 2055 Pinball is here – and it looks pretty decent.
It has to be said that Babylon 2055 Pinball is in no way a match for the hyper realistic tables that Pinball FX3 deals with, but that’s not a bad thing and the lovely glowing visuals of this one make for a nice futuristic treat. With realistic physics promised – I mean, c’mon, what would a pinball game be if it didn’t have great physics? – 6 original table types, a super special table and 9 different mini modes, for the £3.99 price being asked, it most certainly looks like it is worth a shot.
If you agree, then the Microsoft Store should be your next port of call. Those pinball fans out there surely won’t be able to be drawn in by what it brings. Let us know what you think in the comments though.
