When Focus Home Interactive decided to deliver an episodic storyteller into our lives, we didn’t really know what to expect. I mean, only Telltale Game do that well, do they not? Well, no, and it seems Focus are on to a bit of a winner with The Council as today we see the second episode arrive.

The Council – Episode 2: Hide and Seek, continues on the great tale found in the series opener, The Mad Ones , taking us to Lord Mortimer’s island in order to continue the search for Louis de Richet’s mother.

Conversations, conversations and more conversations await as you go deep into the narrative behind The Council, just as the Spanish head of state joins the fray to request that Louis picks a side to fall on. But which way will you turn?

Obviously in order to experience everything that The Council brings, then you will need to have delved into the arts of the first episode before even considering this second chapter, but should you have been there and got the T-shirt, and even plumped for the full Season Pass from the get-go, then there should be nothing stopping you from getting your download in for this one right away.

The Microsoft Store (or your favourite digital store should you be gaming away from Xbox One) awaits your cash. If you don’t have the Season Pass, then you’ll need to wait a couple more days to get in on the action. Hide and Seek will be available to those purchasing individually from May 17th.

Keep an eye out for our full review of Episode 2 – Hide and Seek soon too.
