Brotato is on Game Pass, Xbox and PC

Being a couch potato won’t get you anywhere. Being a Brotato on Game Pass, Xbox and PC though? The world is your oyster.

Available right now as the latest from the Blobfish and Seaven Studio teams is Brotato on Game Pass, Xbox and PC. It follows on from a 2023 launch of Space Gladiators, moving from the platforming adventure that played out as, into a top-down arena shooting roguelite.

Don’t be a couch potato

Priced at £4.19 or present as part of your Game Pass subscription, Brotato looks to be a whole ton of fun. It has you playing as a potato that is armed to the teeth, capable of wielding no less than six weapons at any one time. You’ll need those too, as much like in something like Vampire Survivors, in Brotato the enemy hordes will come and come and come.

It’s the land of Potato World which plays host to the battles and survival instincts of Brotato. With weapons, traits and items available, it’ll be up to you to create your own unique Brotato build, all as you hope to survive the onslaught.

With a cutesy yet demonic artstyle, we think that Brotato could well be a top-down shooter that is worth playing. We’ll find out in full review.

Play Brotato on Game Pass now

For now you can grab a download of Brotato on Game Pass via the Xbox Store. Failing use of a subscription, you’ll be left to pay up the £4.19 asking price. Let us know how you decide to get involved by dropping into the comments.

Alternatively, you’ll find a Brotato + Space Gladiators Bundle on the Xbox Store for £14.49. That brings together both Brotato and Space Gladiators. Obviously. Sounds good, huh?
