Kingdom management awaits with Royal Roads 3 on Xbox

Royal Roads gets up to 3

How much longer can 8floor Games keep it up? Over the last few months they’ve pushed out a ton of games to the Xbox marketplace, each running the same ideas, with just a few changes to the visual and narrative cues. They are doing it again with launch of Royal Roads 3 on Xbox.

All roads are royal

Royal Roads 3 is available right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. If you hadn’t guessed, it’s the threequel to Royal Roads (2019) and Royal Roads 2 (which released just a first weeks back). But with it being an 8floor game, expect it to be reasonably close to the Gnomes Garden formula too.

It runs a price of £4.19, which is pretty much set where all these games have previously dropped. And that means it is immediately intriguing, interesting even. Royal Roads 3 may well be worth a punt in fact – whether that be because you know what you are getting yourself into, or because you want to know more.

Drop in and you’ll find a story that focuses on the kingdom of Laina; a magical place usually content with all. The things is, trouble and all-evil has rocked up. Story aside, this is a management game in which you’ll be tasked with mining stone, chopping wood, harvesting crops and the like. You know, very much like ALL THE OTHER 8FLOOR GAMES TITLES!

Features

But hey, don’t let familiarity put you off. If you do get a download moving, expect all of the following key features to be in place.

  • 4 colorful fantasy locations
  • 50 captivating levels of varying difficulty
  • 10 additional levels
  • 4 unique locations
  • Simple controls and a well-designed tutorial
  • Over 20 hours of exciting gameplay for all ages

Royal Roads 3 is on the Xbox Store. Grab a download right now. And let us know what you think of it once you’ve played. The comments are below.

Royal Roads 3 on Xbox Game Description

The kingdom Laina has led in recent years has not known trouble, and all life has been peaceful and quiet. But Laina knew that magic was closely intertwined with reality, and sooner or later the days of trouble would come, and evil would reoccur. Time management is a genre in which you must harvest crops, mine stone, process wood and allocate resources intelligently in real time to complete level objectives in the allotted time. As you progress through the game, you can improve the available resources using the rewards you earn.

I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
