In a new video covering Kinect 2.0, Microsoft’s Phil Harrison has stated that the new Kinect, (Kinect 2.0), will be powerful enough to understand two different voices at once, and  that it will also be able to read your lips whilst playing in the dark.
It will also be a million times better than the current iteration when it comes to recognising the gamers face. Kinect 2.0 will layer 1400 points to create a 3d image of the players face, which in turn will be used to good effect on the players in-game avatar.

Side scrolling brawler time! Foul Play is this weeks XBLA title, weighing in at £9.99, if you can mange to drag yourself away from that GTA V then this could be a decent little alternative.

Electrify spectators with linked attacks, have a friend join as sidekick Scampwick and use every stage-trick you know to bring the house down! Play out the most spectacular moments of the Baron’s life; improbable beasts, astonishing villainy and, at the heart of it all, the mysterious Foul Play.
We all know that Rockstar have recommended NOT installing the ‘play’ disk of GTA V to the Xbox 360 hard drive, due to texture and frame rate issues, but the guys over at Digital Foundry have discovered that if you install that same disc to a USB drive, then things are remarkably improved.
A 16GB drive seems to be the one of choice and cuts out alot of the popup which occurs when streaming straight from the disk itself.
Have a watch of the video below to see the difference.

Bagpuss, Dangermouse, He-Man, King Rollo, Muppet Babies. Ah the 80’s.
A time of fun, crazy clothes and superb cartoons. Video games were rather innocent affairs, still pretty much in their infancy and the platformer was what the first person shooter is to us nowadays, the big seller! And so it was always a good idea to try and combine the cartoons with this games genre. Nintendo led the way (as they did most of the time back then) and in 1989 they released DuckTales, firstly on the Nintendo Entertainment System and then latterly on the much loved, much sold Gameboy. It was a hit and alongside the cartoon, Scrooge McDuck and his nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie were known worldwide…..oh and there was the little matter of a rather catchy theme tune.
