8floor Games are back – and this time they are telling stories focused on the myth of Circe. Yep, it’s time for another instalment in the Argonauts Agency saga as Argonauts Agency 5: Captive of Circe releases on Xbox.
Over the last six months or so, 8floor Games have had a wild old time, releasing game after game in the Argonauts Agency franchise. Having just reviewed Argonauts Agency 3: Chair of Hephaestus and Argonauts Agency 4: Glove of Midas a couple of weeks ago, it looks like we’re heading back in for even more management duties. Circe awaits.
Another Argonauts Agency Addition
Argonauts Agency 5: Captive of Circe is the latest from 8floor Games. Priced at £4.19 and available on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, we’d hazard a guess that this will follow the series, pretty much word for word. What that means – if you’re new to these parts – is you’ll be treated to some kind of naff story, all whilst embarking on an adventure that deals with some minor management and strategy calls.
We can’t say we’ve ever been wowed by an Argonauts Agency game, but there is some kind of weird addiction to them. It makes Argonauts Agency 5: Captive of Circe another one of those games that is going to tempt us in – even if it own’t provide too much in the way of fun in return.
But hey, it is what it is and Argonauts Agency 5: Captive of Circe will throw some 40 levels your way. These will be filled qith quests, new mechanics and an age-old story. Pretty much like the four games that have gone before it then.
