Demons of Asteborg on Xbox is a 16-bit romp

Neofid Studios and PixelHeart obviously know what makes a gamer tick – an action-platformer ripped straight out of the 16-bit era. We don’t think it’s possible to sleep on Demons of Asteborg and the release on Xbox.

Available right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, Demons of Asteborg allows you the chance to play as Gareth; a knight of the royal guard, a guy intent on taking down all evil. He’ll probably be doing it alone too.

Join Gareth on a 16-bit adventure

Priced at £8.29, it’s cheap enough to jump into the shoes of Gareth, as Demons of Asteborg begins to play out. And jump in you’ll want to do too, as you embark on a new 16-bit journey across a land full of monsters and gold. Yes, we said gold. What adventure doesn’t have gold at the centre of it all!?

In Demons of Asteborg you’ll traverse forests, head up mountains, wander through swamps and more. And throughout you’ll find yourself going up against monsters of all manner, as well as some seriously powerful bosses too.

With a variety of spells to hand, plus a sword of immense opportunity, do you have what it takes to help Gareth navigate the intensity of Demons of Asteborg?

If the answer to that question is a resounding ‘Yes’, then you should be heading to the Xbox Store without further ado. You’ll be able to play Demons of Asteborg on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
