Fossilfuel 2 – a dinosaur-themed survival horror on Xbox!

We’ve never heard of the Fossilfuel games, but a quick Google pulls up some positive spins over on Steam. We’re hoping for much of the same of Fossilfuel 2 sinks its teeth into the world of Xbox. 

Available right now on Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam if you like, is Fossilfuel 2. And yes, we don’t have access to the first Fossilfuel game on console; again, Steam is your friend there. 

Fossilfuel 2 is priced at £16.74 on the Xbox Store, as DangerousBob Studio drop a new dinosaur-themed adventure the way of Xbox folk. But this is about as far from the likes of Jurassic World Evolution 2 as you are likely to get, playing out as the ultimate survival horror. 

The dino-filled Alaskan wilderness

In Fossilfuel 2 you’ll find yourself dropped into the wilderness of Alaska; or at least in the Sierra Research Facility that calls that place home. It has you playing as the lead of PMC Alpha; a squad of mercs looking to understand more about the dinosaur outbreak that has taken place. 

What plays out is a bit of a survival horror, a game that thrusts the most terrifying of beasts upon you, all as you look to take them down and survive. With RPG elements in place, various endings to hunt and actions that have reactions, FossilFuel2 offers much. 

Hell, it even gives you the chance to take on the role of a Raptor too – we’re not sure there are too many games which allow for that.

In all, the key features of Fossilfuel 2 on Xbox are worth taking in.

You’ll find the Xbox Store the usual source of game download. Fossilfuel 2 sits behind a £16.74 price tag, allowing you to play on Xbox Series X|S. It’s even optimised for Series X|S consoles too. You won’t be able to play Fossilfuel 2 on Xbox One though.
