The Suicide Squad are here to Kill the Justice League

If it’s genre-defying third-person action-shooting you are after, we would suspect Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be near the top of your wishlist. But wish no longer and get playing, for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is now available on Xbox, PlayStation and PC.

Running a ‘street release’ date of February 2nd, if you are feeling flush and fancy getting in to the madcap action of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League early, you can. It’s doable by purchasing the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Digital Deluxe Edition from the usual stores, providing early access and game time ahead of the standard drop.

Priced at £99.99 from the Xbox Store and playable on Xbox Series X|S, there’s no doubt that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Digital Deluxe Edition is a ton of cash. But if you wish to immerse yourself in the land, perhaps that outlay is one you can overlook.

The Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League

Also available on PlayStation 5 and PC, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will see you joining Amanda Waller’s crack team of killers. Whether you take on the role of Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang or King Shark, you’ll be left with the nearly impossible mission of killing the Justice League.

Set in the open-world of Metropolis, it’ll be the traversal of this land which is seen as a highlight. Exploration will combine with free-flowing combat, whilst various play styles await, dependant on the character you choose. But it’ll probably be in the squad based gameplay in which Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League really excels; join forces with your mates and tear through Metropolis like there is no tomorrow.

From the Rocksteady Studios team who have previously proven themselves as big hitters with the Arkham series, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League players will be treated to a ton of new content going forward too. There has already been Seasons 1-4 confirmed, with battle passes at the ready.

Get access now via the Deluxe Edition

Of course, for many, the early access given by the Digital Deluxe Edition of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be extremely tempting. But if you’re happy to wait and hold, you’ll find the Standard Edition of the game available from Feb 2nd. It’s considerably cheaper at £69.99 too.

You’ll find Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League playable on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC. It is not available on Xbox One.

Stay tuned for our review of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League on Xbox real soon. We can’t wait for this one though and have already included it in our best games of the week and most exciting titles to launch in February 2024 article. The question is, will this one be on a par with the likes of Batman: Arkham Asylum or Batman: Arkham City?

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Game Description

From Rocksteady Studios, the creators of the Batman: Arkham series, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a genre-defying third-person action shooter where the ultimate band of misfits must do the impossible to save the world: Kill the Justice League.

Join the newly “recruited” members of Amanda Waller’s infamous Task Force X (aka the Suicide Squad), Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang and King Shark, as they set out on an impossible mission to Kill the Justice League. Drop into an expansive and dynamic open-world Metropolis ravaged by Brainiac’s invasion and terrorized by the heroes who once protected it.

Each Squad member brings their own traversal mechanics to help them navigate a sprawling and battle-torn Metropolis, combining free-roaming exploration and combat verticality for an unforgettable experience. Players are free to experiment with a variety of different play styles to unleash maximum damage on their enemies. Whether in single player or online with up to three of your friends, players can take on this suicide mission their own way.
